The New England Newspaper Advertising Executives Association (NENAEA)
operates under the objective to promote newspaper advertising in New
England; to develop a spirit of cooperation and foster a feeling of
mutual understanding among New England newspaper advertising people
as a means toward that promotion; to engage in frank discussion of
the advertising challenges common to New England newspapers, to
exchange suggestions among the members as to how best to combat these
challenges, and to promote the closer relationship and consequent
better understanding between the buyers of advertising, their agents
and the newspaper; from time to time, to make recommendations to
whatever regional association may include in its membership, the
publisher of papers represented in this association, as to
advertising policies and practices which may properly be promulgated
and endorsed by the Publishers’ Association.
